Sam Trifon Triantis

Charlotte-Sam Trifon Triantis, 62, of Charlotte, NC died February 28, 2018. He was born March 15, 1955 in Charlotte, NC, son of the late Trifon and Catherine Triantis.  Sam was a retired restaurateur.

 Survivors include his children, Samson and Arianna Triantis; siblings, Christine and James Triantis and several nieces.

A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 4, 2018, in the Terry Chapel at Dilworth United Methodist Church. There will be a reception following the service.

    So very sad to hear this news. I was just thinking of Sam the other day and went on facebook to see if I could find him. I met him at a AHEPA convention (?) decades ago when I was a teenager. I was so young and fell in love (lol). He was very sweet and sang songs to me. I never saw him again after that convention as I lived in another city. I'll always remember his humor and kindness. He was also very handsome as I recall. May his memory be eternal. Prayers to the family and all those who knew Sam. ?

    Sam was a great man. Every time I saw him he’d talk about how proud he was of his children. He had a big heart, a lover of great music and classic movies and tv. Here is to the dreamweaver keep weaving them in the sky. He will be missed by many friends as well as family. All my condolences to his family and friends.
