Beverly Anne "Bev" Rowse

CHARLOTTE – Beverly Anne Rowse, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the Levine Dickson Hospice House at Southminster in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her loving family by her side. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, Beverly was the daughter of Elliot Earl Smith and Marion Brewer, and the beloved granddaughter of Captain Lester and Elizabeth Brewer.
Beverly loved animals, Booth Bay Harbor, and poached eggs on toast. She was an avid artist, photographer, and musician playing both the piano and guitar. Beverly loved her family and was always up for a game of cards, bingo or glass of wine. She will be remembered for her feisty spirit, unwavering love and the kindness she extended to all who knew her. Beverly’s legacy lives on through her family and the many lives she touched.
Beverly is survived by her three children, Kerriden Fortin and her husband, Edward, Paul Magan, Jr. and his wife, Diane and Jonathan Magan. She was a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren, Alexandra Breunig and her husband, Cody, Matthew Cobuzzi and his wife, Jessica, Lindsey Magan and her wife, Meghan, Christopher Magan and his wife, Kristin, Jonathan David “J.D.” Magan, and Lester Brewer “Skip” Magan. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Baker Rowse, Jr.; her daughter, Robin Elizabeth Magan, and grandson, Bryant Henry “Hank” Magan.
Services will be private.
