CHARLOTTE - Nhora Moreno was born on February 13, 1938, in Bogotá, Colombia, where she grew up, completed her education, and finished high school. She later pursued professional training in anesthesiology. She built a beautiful family with her four children: Lilian, Roberto, José Luis, and Óscar. In 1975 she immigrated to the United States, which became her home and where she built a life full of love, family, faith, and service. Nora was exceptionally intelligent and bright, but above all kind, generous, and devoted to helping others. Her faith was the foundation of her life. For many years, she was an active member of Myers Park United Methodist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she served with love and dedication. One of her most cherished traditions was gathering on Tuesdays with her knitting group, sharing both skill and friendship. Her greatest legacy was her family. Through her four children, her life and love continue in her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nora passed away on August 13,2026, leaving a lasting imprint on her family, her church, and her community. Her presence will remain forever in our hearts.

Nhora Moreno nació el 13 de febrero de 1938 en Bogotá, Colombia, donde creció, realizó sus estudios y culminó su bachillerato. Posteriormente continuó su formación profesional en el área de anestesiología. Formó una hermosa familia con sus cuatro hijos: Lilian, Roberto, José Luis y Óscar. En 1975 emigró a los Estados Unidos, país que se convirtió en su hogar y donde construyó una vida llena de amor, familia, fe y servicio. Nora fue una mujer excepcionalmente inteligente y brillante, pero sobre todo amable, generosa y servicial. Su confianza en Dios fue el eje de su vida. Durante muchos años fue miembro activo de Myers Park United Methodist Church en Charlotte, Carolina del Norte, donde participó con amor y entrega. Uno de sus momentos más apreciados era reunirse los martes con su grupo de tejido, compartiendo talento y amistad. Su mayor legado fue su familia. A través de sus cuatro hijos, su vida y su amor continúan en sus queridos nietos y bisnietos. Nora partió el 13 de agosto de 2026, dejando una huella profunda en su familia, su iglesia y su comunidad. Su presencia permanecerá siempre en nuestros corazones.
