Sinclair Simpson Little

February 15, 2026

CHARLOTTE – Sinclair Simpson Little of Charlotte, NC died on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the age of 35. She was born in Charlotte, NC on September 6, 1990, the daughter of Jack Walter Little and Sinclair Cornwell Little.

Simpson graduated from Charlotte Country Day School and went on to the University of Georgia before transferring to the University of South Carolina.  She had an intense passion for helping people and most recently worked as a physical trainer and coach.

Those who knew Simpson knew her as the purest representation of joy.  She embraced the people in her life with an endless source of energy – a trait that connected Simpson to one of her newest and closest friends, her two-year-old nephew, Monroe.  She was always excited to engage in conversations whether deep or casual in nature and she was never afraid to be judged.

Simpson was deeply connected to the outdoors and loved making plans with those she loved.  She especially loved spending time digging in a garden, coasting on a paddle board, or searching for shark teeth on the shores of a beach.

Simpson will be remembered by her fervor for an active lifestyle and spending time with her friends and family. As a daughter, Simpson loved fiercely and compassionately.  As a sister, she was a protector, a teacher, and a kind companion.  She flourished and found joy in any situation.

Loved by all, she was a loyal friend to all who knew her.

Simpson is survived by her mother, Sinclair Cornwell Little; her brothers, Ely Little and Jack Little and his wife, Ashlin and her nephew, Monroe.  She was predeceased by her father, Jack.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Christ Episcopal Church.  The family will receive friends following the service in the Blue Room at the church.  For those unable to attend in person the service will be livestreamed through the church website at: https://christchurchcharlotte.org/watch-live-funerals/.

Memorials may be offered in memory of Simpson to Christ Episcopal Church, 1412 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28207 or Wing Haven, 260 Ridgewood Avenue, Charlotte, NC, 28209.

    Mrs Little, Ely and Jack,

I remember many days as a kid playing in the backyard with Ely, as a happy young Simpson and Jack ran around us. She was such a happy kid. The Little house was a wonderful part of my childhood, and my heart goes out to you all in such a hard time.

    Much love, and big hugs,
    Lee
