Mrs. Thigpen exhibited her strong faith through her gentle, kind nature and as an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Charlotte and St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Kennebunkport, Maine. She served on the Altar Guild and in numerous other ways at both churches for many years.
