Mrs. Moorefield, age 95, of Matthews, died Sunday, November 10, 2025. She was born September 16, 1930, in Robeson County, NC, the daughter of the late Benjamin Adrian Hendrix and Emma Lilly Lisenby and was the wife of the late Campbell Don Moorefield. Mrs. Moorefield was a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian faith. 

Mrs. Moorefield is survived by her three children; one daughter, Katherine Grahl; two sons, Christopher Moorefield of Bradenton, FL and John Moorefield and his wife Tiffany of Honolulu, HI.

There will be a graveside service on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Douglas Presbyterian Church, 2325 Sunday Place, Lancaster, SC 29720.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region, 1420 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204 or Plantation Estates Inspirational Fund, 733 Plantation Estates Drive, Charlotte, NC 28105.
