CHARLOTTE – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Tsouroudiakakis, 59, on Sunday, November 10, 2024. A beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, George left this world peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and a gentle spirit.

Born on February 7, 1965, in Athens, Greece, George was known for his passion for the arts, and his unwavering loyalty to those he held dear. A gifted storyteller and a friend to all who knew him, George could light up any room with his infectious laughter and warm heart.
Throughout his life, George faced challenges with resilience and grace, always finding a way to make those around him feel loved and valued. He had a love for cooking, traveling and his precious little dogs.

George is survived by his mother, Dimitra (Toula) Tsouroudiakakis and his sister, Sandy Vlahos and her husband, Danny and their children Taxe, Panos and Demi as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Panagiotis Tsouroudiakakis.

George will be deeply missed by his family and countless friends who were like family. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, joy, and kindness that will continue to
inspire all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday November 18, 2024, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. The family will receive friends at 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the cathedral.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Kidney Foundation in his memory.

Though he is no longer with us, the love and memories he gave to us will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, dear George.  You will never be forgotten.
