Anna P. Leris 73, of Charlotte, NC died at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. She was born January 9, 1944 in Greece, a daughter of the late John and Fotine Politis.

Anna and her husband, Nick made their home and raised a family in Charlotte They owned and operated Anna’s Flower Shop on South Boulevard for over 20 years. She devoted her life to Christ and loved her church and church work. Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years, Nick Leris; sons, Spiro Leris and wife, Carmen of Mooresville, NC and John Leris and wife, Lisa of Grinnell, Iowa; brother, George Politis of Charlotte; sister, Georgia Tsoumas and Niki Poulos, both of Charlotte. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service and Trisagion for Mrs. Leris will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 12:00 Noon at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
