Susan Annette Geer Zanghi

CHARLOTTE - Susan Annette Geer Zanghi, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on March 17, 1961, Susan touched the hearts of many with her infectious laughter and warm spirit.

She was the loving mother of three children: Jennifer Zanghi, Kristen Zanghi, and Anthony "Tony" Zanghi. Susan's devotion to her children knew no bounds, and her presence in their lives will forever be cherished.

Susan is survived by her mother, Nancy Hughes Geer Rider, brother, John Geer (Tammy), sister-in-law, Laura Geer and nephew, Jay Geer. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Paul Zanghi, father, J. Frank Geer and her brother, William Todd Geer. She was not only a sister but also a dear friend to many, always ready to lend an ear and offer comfort.

Susan found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially during long walks on the beach and watching sad movies that touched her soul. Her laughter was contagious and her love for life was evident to all who knew her. 

Though Susan's physical presence may be gone, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love, laughter, and warmth she brought into the lives of others.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Myers Park Baptist Church.
